Gettin my serve on
On Monday, the wife, UPSer and myself went to the tennis courts in Vacaville and attempted our return to the court. We can all honestly say it hasn't been since high school since we last did that. But since we're trying to find an activity that will get us in shape and have fun at it we chose tennis. I have to say I really enjoyed it. Although I cannot consistently hit the ball over the net on a return it still feels good to chase after balls left and right. The main problem is the heat which is prominent in the Double V but I think we'll try to do this activity at night. It'll be nice to be outdoors, under the lights and especially out of the house. UPSer also wants to stick with it so we'll probably do some games out in the Hercules/Pinole area as well. So if anyone wants to join us let us know. We're alway looking for other talent, especially the kind that can teach us a thing or two. Make sure you bring good shoes and a nice clean towel.

i remember sneaking out of the house in high school to play tennis in the middle of night (really) at the court in hercules. we'd play until our quarters ran out. ;)
